Oba Adeshina Oluwasheyi Akanmu, Onisheri of Magodo has congratulated the Oluwo of Iwoland, Adewale Akanbi (Telu 1) on his wedding ceremony today with Firdaus Abdullahi, a princess of the royal family of Kano.
The wedding was held at the residence of Madakin Kano in the Yola Quarters of Kano, with representatives of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and that of the Emir of Kano among dignitaries who attended.
Onisheri of Magodo said in a statement that, “This is one occasion where you will find that our country is truly a united country and that nothing can separate this country, not ethnicity or religion or class. There is nothing that can separate this country. In fact, this is excellent evidence of the fact that this country is united.”
He further urged Olu of Iwo to continue in his quest to ensure we have one Nigeria we can all be proud of without tribalism, nepotism or favoritism.
