Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has approved the appointment of some prominent residents of the state to serve on the boards of Odu’a Investment Company Limited, owned jointly by governments of the South-West states.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Yinka Oyebode, in Ado Ekiti on Sunday stated that “the nominees include High Chief Jide Awe, immediate-past state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, who is to serve as a director on the board of Nigerite Limited.”
Oyebode listed others as Chief Dele Okeya, member, Odu’a Investment Limited; Chief Ropo Adesanya, Chairman, Wemabod Estate limited; and Chief Ronke Okunsanya, member of board, Western Hotels Limited.
Others are Amire Kolade, member, Glanvill Enthoven Insurance Brokers Limited; and Mrs Funke Olugboji, member, Lagos Airport Hotel Limited.
Oyebode stated that the appointments would take immediate effect.
