In recognition of its commitment to continuously produce top
quality and durable products, Nobel Carpets and Rugs, Nigeria’s leading rug
brand from the stables of Lucky Fibres plc, has been declared Africa’s Best Quality Rugs and Carpet brand at the 2015 Africa Quality
Achievement Award. The company was presented with the award at an elaborate
event at the Sheraton Hotel, Lagos.
Nobel Carpets and Rugs is the largest manufacturer of carpets
and rugs in the whole of West-Africa.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, General Manager Lucky Fibres
Plc, Mr Jitesh Pamnani said that the award is a confirmation of the company’s
commitment to producing top quality product offerings.
He said, “The award is a reaffirmation of what lucky fibres
is doing in this country. We are a
proudly made in Nigeria carpets and rugs brand. We are an ISO Certified company
and this award highlights our commitment to continuously offer consumers
products of the highest quality that meets international standards. Our
products are also environmental friendly”.
In addition, Jitesh said, “Lucky Fibres started operations in
1989. Since then, we have been delivering carpets and rugs with consistent
quality. We have different product range for commercial and residential
purposes. We even have the capacity here in Nigeria to design and manufacture
customised rugs and carpets to meet a customer’s specifications. Every year we
keep winning awards. This goes to show that we are doing the right thing. We
assure our customers of producing quality, appealing and reliable carpets at a
very affordable price”.
Dr Desmond Esoroghue, a member of the organising committee of
the Africa Quality Achievement Award in his remarks
stated that the essence of the award is to recognise outstanding brands that
have done well over a period of one year. He said, “This is the third edition
of the award. If you look at the quality of carpets and rugs in Africa, you
will realise that Nobel Carpets is one of the most outstanding brands. The
brand is first in its category in all respects”.
He also added that a comprehensive research and market survey
was carried out in selecting the brands that were recipients of the Africa
Quality Achievement award.
